This tutorial will show you how to start and stop a Inprivate browsing session in Internet Explorer.

InPrivate Browsing helps prevent Internet Explorer from storing data about your browsing session. This includes cookies, temporary Internet files, history, and other data. Toolbars and extensions are disabled by default.

To turn off InPrivate Browsing, close the browser window.

  1. Click Safety.
  2. Click InPrivate Browsing.
  3. When the private browsing window opens it will show in brackets [InPrivate].
