How to Find The IP Address on your IPAD
This tutorial will provide instructions on finding your IPAD's IP address. If you are asked for the WAN (Wide Area Network) IP Address you will need to log into your router. Or you can use our "what's my IP Address tool".
- Tap the Settings icon.

- Under Settings, tap Wi-Fi.
- Under Wi-Fi Networks, tap the arrow next to the wireless network your connect to.

- On the right you can view the IP Address, Subnet Mask, Router (Gateway), and DNS.

if it fails to connect:
in settings find what signal you're connected too
boingo hotspot >
there is a blue arrow >. click on the arrow and read the ip address.
note: a 169.xxx.xxx.xxx is a "BAD" or non-routing address and will not work.
the ip address should be a 10.xx or 192.xxx or 172.xxx ip address
if you have a valid ip address
..
then go to settings and find "BRIGHTNESS" its about three lines down from wifi
move the brightness bar to its MAXIUM... this adds energy to the broadcast and its antenna
if you have a wifi finder app such as Boingo wifinder
turn ON reset and UPDATE
you'r all set. return to the desktop on the iPAD
and launch the wifi app or
open safari you should get the wall garden page. put your login ID or find a roaming partner option and select your company ie Boingo and login there
this should get authorized and connected. verify your connected go to Google and search the web
you'er connected.
